Name: CAR PARTS

Supplies Needed: Newsprint / markers

Suggested Time: 10 - 15 minutes

Instructions: Divide members into groups of 5-10 and place groups in separate areas of the room.

Provide 1 sheet of newsprint and 1 or 2 markers per group.

Leader explains that each group needs to draw a car and its parts. Each member should think about which part of the car they portray in their chapter and draw it on the car.

Have the group discuss their function as they draw the part they portray. (EX: president of organization draws the steering wheel because they „steer¾ the group throughout the journey)

After the car is complete and each member has contributed, the groups should share with the other groups and explain their cars. Discussion should revolve around how each member adds something that is vital to the organization, no matter what office they hold. (EX: a car can not run without tires, etc...) Discussion could also revolve around what makes the „car¾ run the best, and how each officer can contribute to the „maintenance¾ and „upkeep¾ of the „car.¾
